If you take the SAT more than once, do they take the best score or your most recent?

  1. colleges can see all your scores, but they will take your best scores into consideration.


  2. Put Chuck Norris for every answer you will score over 8000.

  3. Colleges take the best score from each section (even though they see all the SATs you take) and combine them. In  early Feb.  2009 and beyond, you'll be allowed, however, to send the scores you want (so they wont see all your scores, unless you want them to).

  4. They can see all of your scores, but I believe they take the better score if you took it twice. I'm not sure about this, but my friend told me they took your average score if you take it more than three times. However, some colleges will be allowing you to choose your best scores from EACH section to combine into a total score starting sometime soon. I know USC is one of them. (:
