  1. No, as with doctors there is client confidentiality. If your solicitor told someone, they could be dismissed. However, solicitors are different from barristers as solicitors could choose whether or not to represent you. A barrister would have to have special circumstances to reject your case as they have to take on any work given to them fairly. This would not look good in your case.
