If you think gimbap is korean sushi its not sushi.& not all but most japanese food is part of korean cusuine?

like sushi called chobap not gimbap but chobap its very much like japanese sushi but a bit smaller and thicker slices of raw fish and udon noodles and tempura shrimp and donkasu those are the top 4 japanese food that is now part of korean cusuine

Korean and Japanese food are close but slightly different.  Especially traditional food.

I can say both countries influenced each other.

um, the Japanese supposedly come from Korea.  and the Koreans come from China/Mongolia.  so we're all kind of connected..which leads Jews/Christians/Muslims back to Adam & Eve.  the Koreans WERE oppressed by the Japanese for quite some time, so I guess it was kind of inevitable for some sort of culture meshing.
