  9. Big Brothers/Big Sisters in my area does a raffle for a house every year and the tickets sell really well at $50 a pop but the odds of winning a prize are 1:77

  11. that would depend on the odds. If several million tickets were being sold I wouldn't even bother, or maybe buy one at 50p. If it were in the low thousands I would wager £10.

  12. depends how many tickets are being sold. if there's ten tickets - i'd pay £100. if there's millions - I'd pay 50p
