Well, my best advice would be to sit her down and tell her what has been going on in your life, then let her know how you were dealing with it.  You may get less of a freak out if you do it that way.  She is probably going to try and get you some help when she finds out.  All parents are different.  My Mom was the freak out type.  Even if it was little she blew it out of proportion, so it all depends on how your Mom is.
