  1. i honestly think that i would have only been concerned about me and the people i was with... i know im a horrible person, but i know what i would do...

I would have warned all the rescue and cleanup workers to make sure they wore their respirators at all times while working on the pile.   I was in the environmental field at the time and immediately thought about how horrifying the asbestos and dioxin levels in the air would be as I saw the dust cloud spread over lower Manhattan from my rooftop on the Lower East Side.    A few people laughed at me and said that was the last thing anyone should be thinking about.    Yeah, well 6 years and a bunch of cases of advanced COPD later, it's not so funny, is it?

  4. i doubt i would have been taken seriously so no lives.
