  3. I will not give a pointless answer. I think you succeed because the thing you were trying to fail at was not your goal. The goal was to fail at it. So you have succeed your goal.

    ex: you are playing baseball and on purpose you want to strike out. So you do. You failed to hit the ball but hitting the ball was not your goal. You goal was to fail so you succeed at your goal to fail at hitting the ball. ;)
