If you type scarlet into google earth it comes up with a point in the middle of the forest in the usa, why?

my cousin is called scarlet and we were typng various names into google earth and found this. i find it quite od because there doesnt appear to be a town or village just a point in a creapy looking forest. has anyone been there? does anyone know why this point is called scarlet

  1. Well, when I do it, it zooms in to Scarlet, Indiana, which doesn't seem to have any population whatsoever, but the reason it goes there is because the name of the nearest town is called Scarlet.

    This works with typing "Island", too. It zooms in to Iceland.


  2. it might be that the forest is known for its population of scarlet trees? or some type of animal that has a subtype called scarlet.
