  1. yes don't use bleach more then 2 times a week if you do don't let it go down the pipe  


  2. never thought of that . . . good question.  A plumber friend of ours told us to flush a packet of bread yeast down the toilet once per month.

  3. They will attack them, but the 'good' ones will outnumber them.

    They have no effect.

  4. It can, but try to limit the use of antibacs.  The tank needs them to destroy and digest the waste.  NEVER use Drano or lye in your drains. It will stay in the tank for a long long time and cause problems.

    But a small amount of cleaners with bleach or antibacs will do no harm.
