  1. Unless you're pumping the music at full volume with the bass high, no.

  2. any sound over 85db could cause permanent hearing loss, so to answer your question, if you have it loud, then yes. If the volume is low, then it is of little danger.

  3. It depends on the volume that you leave the music on the majority of the time.  You should make it a general rule to have the volume low enough to hear someone trying to speak to you in a slightly elevated voice should they be trying to get your attention.

  4. you may become deaf if you always listen to music at a very high volume.....or get hit by a car because you were not paying attention to your surroundings

  5. Depends on the volume the music is played at

Everyone has hairs in your ears to regulate the sound you hear and such. Soundblast the Music and you will be deaf faster than the natural hearing to disappear by age

As long as you keep it low and still be able to hear it, then you are fine, remember your body has limits too

  6. It depends mostly on the volume of your listening material and how far into your ears you shove those suckers.  Anything in to high a portion can cause damage.  I personally enjoy listening to my music on my headphones but I don't do it for long periods of time because of the threat of damage.

  7. Provided you listen at a sensible volume level there should be no problem. What matters is how loud a sound is - not whether it comes via headphones. Many performers in pop groups lose some of their hearing, and people who work with noisy machinery - like pneumatic drills - have to wear ear defenders.

Look after your hearing - you can't get it back once it's damaged.

  8. the most time that is considered "safe" is 15 minutes of course if you  playing it hard well the damage will be greater; the problem is inside the ear--there are some tiny hair-like receptors that move with sound waves but if the music or other loud noise is continually played or heard there will be damage--deafness.  So  play it but to it smart.

  9. If youl listen to loud music day fater day than you can loose your hearing faster or have bad hearing. The reason for this is in you ear you have microfibers that pick up what you hear, in a way, in time the wear down from loud noises and continuous noise.
