that's all the sacrifice that education needs.

I'm not saying what's normal, but supernatural.

  1. Better for whom?

  2. Only if we're Spock.  Emotion is what makes this world worth living in.  (I really didn't understand your additional details...)

  3. Well, it seemed to work out pretty well for the Vulcans.

  4. Better? Maybe. Boring? Definitely.

  5. You must get rid of ignorance and delusion first. Delusional people think they are being logical.

  6. Want to make a better world?

Repent and trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.

  7. Yes, much better! I would definitely agree with that statement.

"V" Live long and prosper, just kidding dude, great question!

  8. Logic isn't always right - a child and a grown man are in a fire, logic tells you to rescue the man, as he has a greater chance of survival, but emotion tells you to save the child.

And yes I realise I got this from I robot

  9. have about we shake and stir the both together and have Balance

  10. Do you dress up as Spock for the Trekkie conventions?

  11. But to be human I suggest you find the balance between the two and use both. You need compassion as well as logic. (We are not all Vulcans - LOL)

  12. a humans we are can be logical and are often emotional. Religions take advantage of peoples emotional needs and the logical people rise above it.

  13. Are you using the word emotion to describe supernatural?  I'm a bit confused by your question!

Emotion is very important!  It's excitement and wonder that drives the best scientists, not just logic and reason.  Great art and music is driven by emotion, as is sport.

We just have to be able to recognise one from the other, and not ascribe supernatural provenance to real human emotions (e.g. when people feel uplifted, full of awe and joy, it doesn't actually mean that they are in the presence of a deity!)

  14. We need a proper balance of both to gain insight and understanding.

  15. You'll make a more logical world but not a better world. Hitler used logic to destroy a lot of people. He was a psycho but not the kind that believes everything he reads and gets scared or upset at what people say.

  16. It would simply be a colder place.  Why not replace people with machines, and call it a day?

  17. All logic and no emotion is like All work and no play

Does not make you wise; it makes you a bore!!

  18. Nothing wrong with emotions. What goes awry is when you BELIEVE all of them to be true rather than body stimulation triggered by thought or memory. Human emotions are wonderful but they don't need to be acted out all the time. In fact, better than you don't base actions strictly on emotion, but rather use emotion to color your decisions upon reflection, as in "Why am I upset about this. Is this true? If so, has it disrupted my impartiality?"

    Weigh it all out.
