If you use stridex for acne please read...?

okay, so i have a little bit of acne for the first time.

and i am using stridex, now i wanna know what your experiences with stridex are.. ;

does it work well?

how effective?

and any other info would help me out.

It didnt work for me.

I didnt notice any difference at all.

I have pretty bad acne at times.

What worked for me though is a neutrogena clean and clear bar of soap. (its transparent looking)

Its medicated and cost like 3 dollars at a drugstore.

It works to a certain extent.  There is no quick fix for acne.  Your doctor may recommend some prescription medication.  Keep your face very clean.  Drink plenty of water.  Eat a nutritious diet and get enough sleep.  Try to reduce the stress in your life.  Probably the most useful and effective things you can do are to apply hot compresses to pustules and cysts and never to pick or squeeze pimples. Playing with or popping pimples, no matter how careful and clean you are, nearly always makes bumps stay redder and bumpier longer.   Here are a few informative links with additional home treatment ideas.

My personal regiment, is I cleanse with a good scrub, THEN i use two stridex pads (Oxy are better) and gurantee your face will clear up.

Do this before bed, and you might need to use a moisturizer the next morning. But it will work.

Also, if you're trying to make it clear up quickly, use a stridex pad or two throughout the day.

It didn't work for me.  I did much better (and still do) with Dove cleanser.  It doesn't dry out your skin like Stridex.
