.iv said this in my other posts and got thumbs down but if you leave it late you wont get caught out by the faster delivery with the finger flick

but be careful you dont break your own stumps by leaving it so late lol

  1. Badrinath, the captain of State Ranji team, and captain of India A team to tour Australia has to get a place in the team by default.Otherwise he would have still be languishing among reserves.

Team selectors are not able to assess the strengths of their players and play them as the situation demands.

  2. he played him well with his long stride

  3. Thats what Sehwag and Sachin did from the forefront and as a result handeled Mendis really well, and actually both had a strike rate of over 80 runs per 100 balls against him, showing they attacked him. Dravid and Laxman also started to learn this in the latter part of the second test and third test, inparticular dravid.

Badrinath has a pretty decent and solid technique, his technqiue is better than gangulys. Its a wonderful talent of being able to naturally play late.

  4. Well i guess you were right! I never gave you Thumbs downs by the way!

  5. But not aggressive mode nor under big pressure him at all. But he is good relatively. MS too good. I'd rather like to see someone try to play in aggressive mode against Mendis. Especially, Vs. The Best Balling Attack in Champions Trophy. Probably Sri Lanka have 3M Magicians, Instead of Doctor Death (Vaas), & Maharoof in Champions Trophy. I'd like to see how world famous batsmen face to these 3Ms. i.e. Murali, Mendis & Malinga.

  6. yea bat like him and have a strike rate of less than 50%

  7. Of course playing late is the answer for spin but the fact that he is quite fast as a spinner would cause trouble to batters.

I think Dhoni handles him well and yes, Badrinath did too.Congrats India on the win.

  8. Great technique playing spin and a good prospect for the future of Indian cricket.

  9. good

  10. i agree to you in totality and i have been also iterating it time and again, there is no half measure to bowlers like Mendis as Sehwag showed it in the test match and today Badrinath showed by waiting for his balls , any kind of tentative play like what Yuvraj has been doing playing shots from the crease will bring the umpires the potency to exercise the powers they have been granted i.e. LBW, may it be a right decision or not, thats a separate issue altogethor !

the Indian team is skeptical after that Asia cup collapse and don't know  whether to play him on the back foot or the front foot and getting rattled in the process. It was very pleasing to see an IPL batsman play him with ease. It implies that he is more on the minds of people due to hype and thats what he has been taking advantage of !

you will watch that the runs will increase in his tally and wickets coloumn will keep getting thin with time!

    hope it helps!

    god bless!
