If you want to self-study an AP class, how would you know which books you should use?

  1. Ask a teacher who teaches AP classes or someone who has taken the course.


  2. Unless there is a website that could help you, then just ask the AP teacher (they will almost guaranteed tell you where and what books to use). Or you could ask someone who has or is taking that class what books they use, or maybe if you're friends with them they will let you borrow them so that you can either use it for as long as they let you and/or you could make photocopies of the book (yes, it's illegal. but why not do it? no one will ever know...)
