No, I don't think so.  Probably the most useful and effective things you can do are to apply hot compresses to pustules and cysts and never to pick or squeeze pimples. Didnt work for me. Just drink lots of water, dont eat chocolate or greasy fried foods and oily make up and you should be acne free.

You don't wash your face with it. lol You just put a dot on where your pimple is. It worked for me it minimized the redness and size! Its best to do it before you go to bed, then just wash your face in the morning to get the toothpaste of your face.

actually it's not that weird. if you put a dap of toothpaste on your painful pimples, it will dry them up and make them have a head so you can pop them and squeeze that junk out (EW!) but make sure you wipe the toothpaste off after leaving it on for 15 minutes otherwise it will clog your empty pores and dry out your skin : O
