If you wear a school uniform what does it look like?

At my school its a dark brown jumper and skirt (although apparently they're kilts) if you're in year 7 or 8 you wear a beige shirt and for year 9, 10 and 11 it's a gold shirt. If you're in year 7, 8 or 9 you have to wear a dark brown blazer. And to top it all off black or brown shoes, not boots or ballerina pumps.

What does yours look like?

  1. Mid-shin length blue&green tartan kilts, white shirt, navy tights, navy jumper, black shoes, navy school blazer. No uniform changes in summer and we had to wait for a shirtsleeve order announcement to be allowed to remove our jumpers. They forgot to give shirtsleeves in 07 and everyone had to wear jumpers/blazers all day on the hottest day of the year. So glad I'm now out of uniform!

  2. I had to wear :

Shirt : White, long sleeve. ( 6th forms were allowed to wear light blue shirts )

    V necked Jumper : Navy

Skirt : Navy knee length ( any shorter & we'd get suspended )

Socks : White in summer, Black or Navy in winter.

Blazer : Black with gold trim & school logo on pocket.

Tie : Navy, light blue & gold.

Shoes : Black lace ups or slip ons ( no heels )

I hated it & couldn't wait to get out of it when I came home from school.

    Good Luck. X :-)

  3. my school uniform is black shoes-no heels of any kind, a dark green, yellow and light green kilt, a white school shirt, a tie with small crest on it, a navy jumper and a navy blazer- it's a catholic school.

  4. We had to wear blue long sleeve shirts with black trousers/skirt and a hideous blue/black/yellow/green school tie, obviously topped off with the obligatory polyester (impossibly hot in summer) monstrosity that is the school blazer.

I never understood why we could'nt just wear regular clothes-what's the worse thing that will happen if all the students don't wear matching uniforms really?!?.

  5. Green and Black

  6. When I was at school we had to wear black trousers, black blazer, white shirt with a purple tie with red and yellow stripes haha and some sought of shoes.

  7. my school is the same stuff for all the years in the school.

its basically, navy blue sweatshirt, black trousers, white polo shirt and black shoes.

  8. well last year i wore:

    black trousers

    white shirt

    black jumper with schools logo

green tie with gold crest type thing

    black shoes

y7-10 uniform is the same, except has a green jumper, and a green and gold striped tie

but..... lucky me doesn't have to wear uniform in the 6th form :)

  9. the school uniform we where is this:

either a white or royal blue collar shirt

and khaki or navy blue pants (skirts, dresses, or capris can be worn by girls) with a belt loop

the belt has to be black or brown (no rope belts, no studs on your belt, just plain)

it's not that bad we didnt have to start wearing school uniforms until i was in 3rd grade (i'm in 10th now)

  10. At our school it is blue, black or khaki pants with any colored polo or **** with a collar. In high school you have to wear a belt. No hoodies but you can wear a sweat shirt (plain) over your collared shirt.

  11. I can't believe the school your going to couldn't think of a better colour than BROWN!

  12. My uniform was:

A light grey skirt with a single big pleat right down the front that resembled a massive open fly.

Black tights and shoes, dull staples.

A jumper that was a shade of maroon you'd most likely find on a pub carpet that was ten years old, which had a grey stripe all around the neck like a steel choker.

A white blouse that was the same translucency as tracing paper: designed by perverts for perverts.

Thank aubergine I am in sixth form next year and can burn the horrid thing come autumn!

  13. at my old school it was navy blue pants, skirt, or dress with a white or blue shirt. I never wore it it was a public school so they didnt really care!

  14. the school ove just moved to sixth in, we used to wear black blazers, balck trousers, whit shirts, black shoes, and the ties were predominatly back, with a silver stripe, and in the silver stripe were smaller stripes of yellow, blue, and green (the school logo colours, holy trinity and all and the school being trinity, not religious school though)

    :D

  15. my skool colors r black nd white

we're not allowed to wear kilts T.T

so we have plack pants nd most ppl wear a white golf shirt with the logo emboired nd a knitted vest over with the skool crest embrioded

we also hav sweaters nd such but most ppl wear like a vest or sweater

not much wear blouses just golf shirts

  16. We just have to wear khaki pants and a white polo for all grades, pre-k through 9.

  17. oh god i am not in school but to tell this i am a 27 yr old female and everything has to be black pants for females  fedora hats black flats and a white shirt and a purple rose pin on the side of a black shrunken black jacket with sequins on it guys i can't think of any but i think the one i choose for girls are cool and god no i would not wear a uniform that is a skirt or jumper or brown blazers i am so lucky when i was in school not to wear a uniform

  18. For the first few years at my school you just have to wear the school sweatshirt over a polo shirt and black/grey/navy trousers or skirt.

In sixth year you have to wear a black or white shirt with the sixth year school tie (mine was green, though it's sometimes maroon) so that people know who you are. That gets worn with black trousers or skirt.

The uniform policy is really lax in third, fourth and fifth year. No-one really cares that much and loads of people break the rules.

(For the year confusion, I think first year in Scotland is about year 7 or 8 in England.)

When I was in second year, rumours started going around the school that our new headteacher was about to introduce a new uniform policy. People thought she was going to make girls wear kilts and tights and boys wear bowler hats! With blazers as well. I don't know where any of that came from.

  19. everyone wears the same uniform in our school unless ur in sixth form or if ur jumper is v neck or round. We wear black trousers, white shirt and a burgundy jumper with a burgundy tie. we also have to wear black shoes(not trainers). it sucks!!!!

  20. The junior cycle (1st - 3rd years) has a maroon skirt, a hideous cream blouse and a maroon wool jumper with the crest. It used to have a tie but not anymore. You wear white or fawn socks or black tights.

The senior cycle (4th - 6th years) have a blue skirt, a blue, green and white stripey shirt and and a blue wool crested jumper. White or grey socks or black tights.

Everyone has to wear flat, black walking shoes. And everyone has the delightful navy coat which makes everyone look fat.

The junior blouse is see-through and we're not allowed to wear a top underneath.

I don't know why everyone is complaining about blazers. I'd love to have one. The junior uniform is designed to be worn with the jumper so you can't take it off. Torture in summer!

  21. it has the name of your school and the color

  22. We have a white polo shirt with our logo in yellow, and a brown sweat shirt with our logo in yellow, with black trouser/skirt. And our P.E kit is a plain white polo sirt, brown skirt and bright yellow socks! Not very nice but you get used to it!

  23. THAT'S EASY!

white polo shirt, green jumper, grey trousers, black shoes.., oh and it fits comfy.

  24. At my school i have to wear a black jumper with a gold, black and purple tie.

My pe uniform is horrible though

its a bright red t-shirt with a bright red jumper. with black shorts and red socks.
