If you went to a restaurant (Friendly's) and when you were eating ice cream you found a piece of glass in it

Question

how would you react and what would you do?

this happened to my friend last night, he felt the glass while it was in his mouth and cut his tongue a little and there was little blood, but overall no big deal. we were very professional and nice but i know that some other people could've easily flipped out and caused a big scene and possibly sued for 10 million.

we just told the waiter about it and the check was on the house......we still gave a good tip.

did we do the right thing or would you have done something different if you were in this situation?

I would have done the same thing. You wouldn't want to push it too far...
