If you were Fremantle's coach....?

Looking at Freo's season so far....

Comparing what Freo did last week against what they didn't do this week....

As a coach what do you do?

Blast them and they'll go into their shell and you isolate yourself as a coach.

But do you keep it really positive and say tell your players to view Rd8 as the start of the season and lets start again

I tell ya a secret, I was recently in Freo Hospital for a couple of week stay and the Dockers training oval is right next door, I scored the window over looking the oval..

These boys are unfit!

They also dont train as a team, they come and go in dribs and drabs

They need to be trained harder and work more drills..

They arent performing at a professional level becos theyre not trained at a professional level..

How can they possibly play as a team wen they dont train as a team?

i wood try everything possible 2 unite the playing group and get the players to play for each other, not to rely on the few who regularly contribute week in week out. Geelong had the same problem in 06 when they had the skilled blokes yet they continued to lose games they should of rightfully won. they turned things around in the following pre season, got things right and won a premiership. thats wat id do

i would give them all a box of chocolates and tell them to cheer up! "heads up boys" =P

i would probably get them fitter.. so that they can get a huge lead on a team - and not run out of puff when trying to defend it!

and work on goal accuracy....

and clearances from the centre.. whats the point of having a giant for a ruck if he's got no one to go to...

and they need to work on..... i could go on forever! =P
