If you were Graham Henry, would you have the All Blacks WAGS on tour at the Rugby World Cup?

All the talk over the past few days has got me wondering http://nz.blogs.yahoo.com/maninthestand/32/the-man-getting-wound-up-over-wags and I'm keen to hear your thoughts. If you were the coach what would you have to say?

Well, you can't stop them from going to RWC. After all, they are rugby lovers. But you can have rules about contact between players and WAGS. The distraction part of constant contact has to be avoided. The players and the WAGS are probably mature enough to know they are not going to see much of each other, and that the focus is on winning the cup, and not on having a holiday.

I don't see why not.  It is not the first time they've gone over seas with the All Blacks... actually, it's not that rare for them to go on the last tour of the year.  Quite often some will stay in that country with their wives/partners after the rest of the team goes home.

They will hardly ever see them anyways since almost every minute of each day is scheduled for the players while the wives go and sight see and shop.

The older guys can handle being away from home for that long but the younger guys will be glad to have someone else familiar to turn to.

Some of you sound like the wives will be writing the players notes to excuse them from practices!

No way, would I have the Wags there during the Rugby World Cup. Plently of time for the All Blacks to get a leg over when the mission is completed successfully! Priorities, please!

No to WAGS!!! Your teammates will feel uncomfortable every time they come to your room cause you girlfriends there,it splits up the team unit.You hav to entertain your lady everynite eg.dinner,shopping etc.or they get upset that your ignoring them.

Get real girls this aint mixed doubles we playing for and it only comes around every 4yrs the boys are big enough to look after themselves,they have the whole weight of a nation on their shoulders and they must be focused.You can bother them when the job is done cause if they lose ,the country will remind them every day for the nxt 4yrs,and people that dnt live in NZ wouldnt know how passionate and unforgiving to players when it comes to our National game "RUGBY".
