If you were Prime Minister of Canada would you have your government increase, decrease or keep the contributions to the U.N. the same?

Picture this happening:

It is 2006 and the United Nations is facing a major budget crisis. The United Nations is basically running out of money primarily because the superpowers refuse to support the organization financially. The international community is looking towards Canada for help knowing full well that Canada has been a great supporter of the U.N. Canada has been asked by the U.N. to increase its contributions from $25 million to $125 million a year. If you were Prime Minister of Canada would you have your government increase, decrease or keep the contributions to the U.N. the same? In coming to your answer, be sure to think about the history of the U.N., its effectiveness, Canada's own role in the U.N., and some of the problems facing the world today

That would be something to thing about.I believe in democracy so i would put to a free vote in the house,if it passes then yes.
