Who would you put in the #33 for next season?

Would you try and snag a full time cup regular that's currently available like Newman, Mears, or possibly McMurray, OR would you go for a young NW driver that shows potential such as Stephan Leight or others. And of course theres still Scott Wimmer who has shown flashes of potential when he has been in quality equipment.

  1. There are so many. My top candidates would be -

    C. Mears

    B. Keselowski

    Scott Wimmer

I think he's going with Mears, but I'd love to see Keselowski in a Cup car. Jr.'s got one talented flame on his team and I don't think it's about to go out.

  2. prob be mears ,if truex is available maybe him, wimmer i dont think is aggressive enough for cup,or maybe a young driver from nationwide series or maybe someone from hooters procup.

  3. Ryan Newman  Mears isn't any good i mean if he is at Hendrick an cant win but 1 race

  4. I would go with Newman or Mears.  Newman's record isn't all that bad, he's just been in sub-par equipment for a while.

    Go Jr.>>>>

  5. Probably Wimmer, as he was part of the Busch Series Owners Championship run in 2007.

  6. I think that he has 3 great drivers now and he needs to focus on them !

  7. I'd want McMurray =)

  8. Great question! If I were him I would put Casey Mears in the seat, and keep him with the same crew chief, whoever that would be, for a LONG time! Casey hasn't had a crew chief that he is able to build a communicative bond with, he has to always learn how to communicate with a new one with the moving around he has done. There hasn't been any consistency.

You did raise my eyebrow by mentioning S. Leight. I think he is a very talented driver that should be in the Sprint cup series as soon as possible!!

Keselowski would be another candidate in my eyes, it would be cool to see him go to HMS after Mark Martin gets his Cup ;)

  9. I DON'T KNOW BECAUSE I'M NOT RIGHARD CHILDRESS

    LO!!!L

  10. i would look for a potential great in other words a busch i mean nationwide driver... yeah you may have to watch a few cars get wrecked but they have more years (you can keep them for 10 or 15 years if you want and if you can) and you can get them a cheaper price so you can put more money into the program for him

  11. no

  12. although he is probably not the best choice i would give wimmer the ride. he has driven the holiday inn car when jeff is not in it fairly well and been testing for richard waiting for a chance at a full time ride. I would tell scott drive it like ya stole it if you want to stay in the seat.

  13. I agree with the answer given saying he should focus on the good 3 drivers he's got BUT...for the 33 I like Jamie McMurray.

  14. Truex would be a great fit with RCR for next year, in the 4th car.

The only reason why it might not happen, is that RCR and DEI share engines, and I am sure there would be some bad blood if Truex bolts to RCR
