    .

  2. On a pound for pound list I would have to rate Pacquiao 1st. He has shown time and time again that no matter what weight class he fights in he can both over power and out-box his opponent. He is classy, fast, strong, willing, he has all the qualities required to be the best in the business. My list from 1-10 would be:

    1. Manny Pacquiao

    2. Miguel Cotto

    3. Kelly Pavlik

    4. Joe Calzaghe

    5. Israel Vazquez

    6. Juan Manuel Marquez

    7. Christian Mijares

    8. Bernard Hopkins

    9. Ricky Hatton

    10. Ivan Calderon

  3. like in everybody else's book (esp. ring mag), he would be behind mayweather at number 2....but mind you, its a close gap of percentage between them, (if mayweathers unretired that is), as for now number 1, then cotto , calzaghe and marquez sharing number 3, then 4 belongs to pavlik

  4. Im 100% on board w/ your because of level of competion. Manny, Cotto, Pavlik have fought tough competion through out there young career where as calzaghe's toughst comp. was Hopkins and now in his last fight he's talking a step down in Jones instead of Pavlik .

My only objection is that after Cotto/Margarito. If Cotto wins i I'd put him on top. Lucky for us though Manny has stated to ESPN that he would like to move all the way up to 147 being that he walks around at 150. Hopefully Cotto will still be at 147 by then.

  5. I would say that Pacquiao is no 1 on the p4p list without doubt but that is my opinion. People each have their own opinion on the matter though for instance i myself find it laughable to rank Pavlik above Calzaghe. Calzaghe has held a version of the SuperMiddleweight title for over 10 years and made 20 or so defenses and is still unbeaten, Pavlik has held the title for only 2 fights and don't bring up the old Calzaghe hasn't fought anybody nonsense as Gary Lockett (1 of Pavliks 2 defenses) was a virtual unknown in his own country never lone in America. Its not that i don't like Pavlik who i think is a great talent and extremely exciting to watch he just hasn't achieved much yet. Cotto is pretty simular he has some good names on his record and i would rank him higher than Pavlik but he still has to achieve a bit more to be up in the top three area for me. As i have said though this is only my opinion.

My top three would be at this point in time would be.

    1, Manny Pacquiao

    2, Joe Calzaghe

    3, Juan Manuel Marquez

  6. he is rated the second best boxer in the world currently p4p second only to the retired floyd mayweather

  7. He has to be near the top. He has faced some great fighters and beat them. Even though I think he lost to Marquez in the rematch!!

  9. pacquiao no.1

    marquez no. 2

    calzaghe no.3

    israel vasquez no.4

    miguel cotto no.5

pavlik has only been champ for 9 months, so ranking him high is too premature.

  10. in his division probably 2nd or 3rd cus he is trying to dominate divisions.
