If you were a magician, what would you call yourself, and what sort of magic would you practice?

Subquestions- what would your tower be like, and what would you have for your familiar?

I'd be a (dragon) mage as i practice dragan rituals.

I'd have to go for the top-hat and red-lined cape, big-ol waxed moo-starsh and monocle routine and I'd practice pulling rabbits out of hats and making doves appear out of silk hankies.

A penthouse suite in a trendy part of town to which I could bring loose women and floosies to work on the mystical arts of drunken seduction.

And for a familiar I think a shiny new ferrari with go-faster stripes and a really loud hooter.

My name will be 'Sirius the lord of khem' and I would practice the art of Alchemy 'transformation' of elements. My tower would be the Per Neters of Giza. My family would be ancient indigenous Egyptian and Hebrew wisdom keepers who holds the ancient arts and wisdoms of shamans and priest scientist such as Ashurbanipal, Jethro, Moses and Akhenaton and gods such as EA/Enki and Yahweh.

I never put name to myself.  Nor do others.  Hence, usage of Avatar.  

If named that offers prospectus against us.  So nameless provides security and individual prospects that less secure hard data base designation cannot assure (i.e, angular deviations, any anomalous configurations, and annus mirabilis).  My magic must be colorless.  

All true magic is simply elevated technology application without common explanation or realization.  Magical black and white can be identified after the fact but less so if mixed to more easily enter defenses. Like a common cold rather than any assault of defenses commonly enabled by such as tuberculin.  Ignorance is no excuse.  

Yes, slowly defeating opposition with minimum opposition is my favored stragegy.  I would only mention this to those most likely infected; all your fears are my best servants.  Any 'familiar' is obviously that medium we both employ.  One of us simply has been manipulating  others longer for singular results.  I'm pleased reader(s) live to realize this doom.  Any electrical transfer point is one of my towers.  Energy shares operative values.  We strive and perish according to same potential.  I'll take credit now for that intended tiny crawling sensation up your arms.  You'll now recall 'In The Day' word play being ritually washed away.  Welcome to reality.
