If you were a new preschool teacher?

what is some things i should remember or write down to help me become a better teacher

be yourself - and enjoy what you're doing. I have more fun when I'm teasing or making things up.  the kids call me silly and I love it when they say that - coz then I know they're having a good time.

Always be fair to a kid, otherwise ur gonna have a lot of crying.

What a great question.  Most definitely be yourself. When you have a relaxed, comfortable attitude then you will have a sense of really belonging there.  This is a big question.....I would find mentors within the community or your college campus that can help model some behaviors for you.  If you really are curious then just search NAEYC for many articles actually written by teachers.  I like Dan Gartrell a lot.  Mr. Gartrell tells short anecdotal stories.  Read these and see how you might deal with them.  You should write down on that paper of yours that its not about you/ rid yourself of power and control.  Look into something called "scaffolding" as a method of facilitating for age appropriate development.  There is no one answer but I propose that the fact that you want to improve is 90% of the "victory" you seek.  Just submerge yourself in the culture and you will learn.  Good luck to you.

show good body laguage as the children will respect you more sensing and feeling more comfortable with you. Join in with all teh children in diffrent activities. Dont favourize particular children be fair to all. Try to meet all the needs and try to identify each childs needs as each child will have different needs. Try  to find new fun activites to help the children learn . Show confidence has children generally like bubble personalities has this will help them bring out there confidence. Always be motivated and make sure you love the job . Show care and make sure you meet all your responsibilities.
