If you were able to surgically become a mermaid, would you?

Take this question seriously, little girls (and boys =P).

If they found a way to surgically remove your legs, place a scaly fin in its stead and give you gills to breathe underwater would you have the operation.

To make things interesting lets say the surgeon charges you nothing.

P.s. You do know that most fishes are oviparous? As in the female lays her eggs and the man fish (or mer-man) will fertilize it.

HaHaHa!!!  I just LUV the pictures of the specimens.

No way would I change to a mermaid.  I mean, really, there are many creatures who would only see me as their next meal!   Not to mention getting caught in fishnets.

As land, air breathing humans, we only have to fear terrorist bombs, random bullets, car accidents, train wrecks, natural disasters, and dying of heat or cold because we were neglected!

Much better than the sea, don't you agree?

No it would be jus my luck to get some toxic waste or oil dumped on me. Also there are 2 many predators in the ocean. Also how would I have s*x or reproduce? Naw no deal
