Something specific, so not reception but something like, "linens", "food", "cake", "photography" "dress" etc

  1. flowers   i really like them and I would like a small vase and a single rose for each guest to take home as well as all the other decorate flowers.

  2. Decor

  3. Photography--hands down photography.  I'm a bridal consultant, and while brides can spend money on every single aspect of her wedding, the photographs are the 1 thing that lasts PAST the wedding day.  Granted, the dress does as well, but most women don't pull their wedding dress out to look at every day, but you do pull out your wedding photographs.  I've been married 20 years, and my kids still crack up at my husband and I.  OK, we do look a LITTLE dorky--it was 1988, wedding dresses were supposed to look like they looked then!!  LOL

  4. The food, because it was the most expensive thing, and I wanted it to look all fancy... The dress I could find for cheap, the ceremony/reception site as well... The photography would be the next thing... But I would get a lot of photography students to do it, and my brother in law works at a tuxedo place, so he could get me good people for the tux (obviously), photos, dj's, etc.

    So definitely the food.

  5. Food would be my choice. That is what everyone remembers.

Photography would be my second choice.

  6. my dress or the cake

  7. Honeymoon or the food

  8. Money for a nice reception at a fancy restaurant.

  9. FOOD. :)

  10. well it would be the best thing to ask my future wedded to see which one she likes and i would prefer it too. if you love someone all you want is her or his happiness and i think making her happy in all her life is my final goal. because seeing her happy is going to cheer me up too

  11. We couldn't afford a band; we had a great dj - so that would be the one thing. Nothing beats live music for dancing at a wedding.

  12. Alchohol, I think it would be nice if none of my guests had to pay for their drinks. I know it would cost a lot for my family & friends to drink. My aunt had an open bar for 1 hour at her wedding of 150 people (some guests were kids) & she said the bill was close to $3,000 dollars! Yikes!!!

  13. food and liquor, our friends and family like to eat and drink so I wish I could have an unlimited budget for that.

My wedding is in vegas and the mark up on food and liquor is crazy!

  14. I would go all out on food.  My family and friends like to EAT!!!  LOL

  15. Definitely the photography/videography. That's what I've decided is most important. When my parents got married they only had a friend take some photos and they don't have one single decent one. It's a real shame because your photos is what will be seen for generations to come, not whether your dress is pure silk or synthetic satin, or what your cake was made of. The little details don't really matter that much in the long run.

I want gorgeous photos for my children, their children and their children. I love looking at the great-grandparents' wedding photos.

My dress is vintage and cost me only $40! You don't need to spend huge amounts on a gorgeous dress. For the food we're having nice finger food, buying some wine and beer in bulk and only serving two or three different types of each, and not having a champagne toast. I'll spend a bit on the cake but not more than a few hundred dollars.

  16. flowers and photography

  17. The dress it's a all about you day and you will never have another all about you day after your married.

  18. The honeymoon!
