  1. Neither one. Why fear anything?

  2. I am atheist and I go to church all the time because I do it out of respect for my wife (a Lutheran). My skin doesn't burn when I enter a church, and I can wear a cross without it exploding into flames too.

As for a satanist cult, I have never even heard of one near where I live. Those people are just sick, not because of their religion, but because they are just mentally ill people.

And as for the church thing - again. If they knew I was atheist, and it was a traditional catholic church, then yes, I would be very scared for my life.

  3. I was into satanism, so I would have to chose the cult as being the most scariest.

  4. I'm an atheist, the logical choice would be not to go in either.

  5. I would do neither! Both are organised religions and if I don't believe in God I certainly don't believe in Satan!

  6. I've always wondered what it'd be like to sacrifice cute little innocent babies.

I'd have to say I would try being a satanist.

  7. The former...

Just because we're atheist doesn't mean we want to join cults...

We leave that up to the theists...

  8. nothing.

  9. Neither are scary.  And Satanism isn't what you obviously think it is.

  10. Satanism, for the most part, is an atheist philosophy. There's no literal "Satan", and instead is self-centered. So I imagine, if I were an atheist, I would rather be a Satanist - and continue being an atheist - than become a Christian.

    Peace.

  11. I am, and they both sound like an equal waste of my time.

  12. Most Satanists don't literally believe in Satan and I have a lot in common with them.  So it would be a whole lot less delusional to join them.

  13. The Church of Christ.  The Satanic Cult just slits your throat quick-like with a dagger.  But if you have to drink the Cyanide Kool-Aid like Christians are expected to do, that is a horrendous painful death, your stomach and your brain are on FIRE.  Oh, and don't THINK the Cyanide Kool-Aid is not in your future if you're a Christian.  Jim Jones' People's Temple started as a perfectly ordinary, respectable offshoot of the Assemblies of God, even got a prize for community work from Rosalind Carter the wife of the U.S. President.  Any Christian church whose members have NOT mass-suicided yet are just wishy-washy and less committed in their faith...

  14. Satanism makes my eyes roll so hard I risk seizing.

I enter churches all the time.  I like travel and architecture...

  15. They both sound a bit too much like hard work.  Can I order a sandwich instead?

  16. Entering the church of christ.
