What will you do to bring more sales to this company? Let's pretend you've already said communicate well with the customer, and followup through closing. Let's also pretend you already responded with product knowledge and selling your customer on why your product is the best in the industry. Your interviewer is looking for something more, something exceptional. What might you say?

  1. Sales is simple... there are really only a few reasons for a company to buy your product

1.) will your product help them make more money (ie. if you're sellling advertisement how many more customers will be gained)

2.) your product will help them save money (lower operating costs, improve productivity, etc.)

If you've done your research before the interview you'll know what the company sells and how it benefits others give your ideas to the interviewer and it might help.

  2. you will find and followup on new leads

the only way to increase sales is to get more leads

  3. Well, tell them what you would do...I assume you have ideas of what you would be doing for the company and how you would be able to improve upon that...so tell them that. there isnt any magic answer.

  4. you could say you would recommend the company to people you know or see
