If you were asked for reasons why did you apply in the university you want what will be your answer/s?

in my application form, there is a question stating reason/s for applying this university. i don't know what appropriate answer will i give. i've been dreaming of entering this university because of its high standards and i believe it is a good foundation for the preparation of my future. how will i answer?please help me.

That part of the application is your opportunity to tell them why you want to go to their university. Did you choose it for their academic programs, location, certain professors? There are so many places to choose from, so what made you pick their school?

You need to write in an acceptable manner so your readers will understand what you are talking about. And you've answered your own question already. Look at what you wrote above.

"i've been dreaming of entering this university because of its high standards and i believe it is a good foundation for the preparation of my future."

Possible answer:

Looking back on the past few years, I realize that I have wanted to attend XYZ University because of it's reputation of excellence. The exceptional standards at XYZ will allow me to build a solid foundation for my future.
