If you were at that ship scene from "The Dark Knight" what would have done.

I'm talking about the part were the Joker tells the people in the ship they will have till midnight to decide if they want to make the other boat explode or just wait till midnight & they will both explode... I'm just curious to see what other people might have actually done.

Please be honest! Even it is kind of hard to imagine...

I'd blow the other ship up. It's the only way I could live.

I was thinking maybe they really had their own detonators the whole time.

Jumped off the boat and swam to shore.

And, by the way, it's inconceivable that the cops would have just 'hung out' with the felons while holding that detonator.  I hated that scene.  It was just so...contrived.  I thought it was a very weak point in an otherwise outstanding movie.

Honestly....

i would have pushed the button and blew up the felons. I wouldnt risk my life or my baby living a life without a mother for them.

I don't believe you can answer the question honestly without being in a high pressure environment like that to decide. But I do believe the reality of it wold be that the inmates would have been blown to pieces. The cops have their duties and us with our freedom would believe they have nothing to live for.

Personally during that whole scene I thought it was a trick and they were going to blow themselves up.....and I probably would have been sitting on the boat thinking the exact same thing, so pressing that button would have been harder.....if I knew for SURE it would blow the other ship up, well i would vote for the law abiding citizens any day of the week
