I have many female friends, and the quality that attracts me to them is their gentleness, firmness, integrity,  sense of reality, courage, focus, ability to guide their children by providing positive encouragement for the kids to talk to them, and their father, to express your pride, and love in them, and having an evening meal as a family that the kids, and even their dad join in the preparation of the meal.  It's fun, and strengthens the bonds.  No physical disciplinary action, take the cell phones away for a week, deny their participation in after school events, x3, be persist ant about meeting their peers.  Talk honestly about drug use, sexual activity, and the importance of focusing on their school work.  These same dynamics apply to the way the dads encourage their kids to be honorable, and to not punish honesty.
