If you were buying a house, what color would you want the carpeting to be?

Carpeting is the least healthy choice for floor covering.  I would prefer no carpeting.

Well it depends on what the theme or attitude is in the room. For work you want something simple and plain so it doesn't distract you. For a media room maybe something a little more colorful. For the bedroom i suggest a brownish or deep red color. If you want only one color through the whole house go fore a beige so it matches with everything

A dark tweed. Once with several colors in it.

nuetral colours that go nicely with the colour of the walls..

never red or blue carpet

I've always liked earth tones they are very easy to work in with other colors. I had hardwood floors installed throughout a few years ago and they are much easier to clean. If it's in the budget consider the hardwood floors.

A dark color.  White is so unforgiving and shows every little thing.

beige...but i would go with wood floors if I had kids....messes are easier to clean up on wood floor rather then carpet, having to buy carpet cleaners and such
