I was offered $10K for my 4 tickets when I said on this site that I was going. I couldn't believe it (and the guy may have been stuffed in the head) but I was sorely tempted. But I'd promised my boys and that's worth more than $10K.

What would you pay for tickets to see your team live at the GF (put aside the promise to the boys which was the decider for me).

(For the record, I don't regret the decision at all)

  1. I'd have to say a couple of thousand.

  2. for 2 tickets (myself and my dad)...hmmm.....2K max.

  3. I would pay $250 per ticket ..if I was 90% sure of a win (like Geelong this year).

...although I would be disappointing quite a few ppl by not holding my annual GF BBQ!!!

Ray, I would have done the exact same thing - the look on your boys faces at the win would have been PRICELESS!!

  4. as a blues supporter and having been alive to see 5 granny wins (although none live) and a couple of losing ones id probably pay around $300 but if i were a Doggies or st kilda supporter-you'd have to consider selling the house :)

p.s good work ray A im sure the kids loved it.

  5. Yeah I`d pay 2 -3 grand. You might never see them win one again. Look at the Swans, 73 year drought.

  6. NOTHING!!!!

I enjoy watching AFL or any sport for that mater on TV.

As for the Grand Final I enjoy watching it at My sister in laws house. Her husband and she have their annual Grand Final BBQ and I would rather spend it at their house with family and friends. We have a laugh!!!

NO TRAFFIC,people yelling and best of all Commentary.

Yes I know there is the atmosphere, but for me personally I'd rather stay home.

    GO KANGAS!!!!!

Oh, and you did the right thing.
