  1. I wouldnt pay any attention to them. They are just eating dinner...leave them alone. Who really cares about celebs anyways...they are just people!!!

  2. depends on the celebrity....

  3. depends what celebrity. i'd probably stay chill though. but i'd take pictures from my phone =]

  4. A celebrity, as any person, is devoted to her/his work... when s/he is working, and, sure, s/he may enjoy departing some time around her/his experiences regarding it. Nonehteless, please, when s/he is out one her/his own spare time, the last thing s/he would like to do is to remain aware of her/his work; a celibrity is acknowledged for her/his work, and, let us see, if, for instance, Michael Durbain (from No reservations, a very fun culinary research program from Travel & Living), is in quired about a particular kind of cuisine or a given program,.... after having spent hours..... days.... weeks.... .... researching, talking, filming about food, would he feel comfortable? He might be flatterd, yes, .... he might have been at the beginning, when he had not become a show biz star yet: it feels nice to be recogniced for one´s work, no doubt about it... but, again, after having keept his mind around food (in the given example) for so long, would Michael enjoy a chat, or even an ocasional "hello, I love your show... the one , regardless of how warm and flattering it is? I really doubt it.

Despite that, true, every person is different and a celebrity, after all, is just a person (how great is Notting Hill´s Julia Roberts´ character, Anna´s, line "after all, I´m just a girl, in front of a guy, asking him to love her", right?); I cannot talk but anybody but myself, but, although not being world wide celebrities, there are some local -in Lima, Peru- "stars" I have met ramdomly in a bar or a restaurante, and, let me tell you, guys, the last thing I would do is to have them feel I am looking at them as "different" from a regular guy, as celebrities; in fact, I recall one of these guys comment (yes, another culinary dude): "I come here not to talk about food and this guy asks me for... " -it was a bout a recipe, a restaurant or something the like-.

Well, I leave this by now.

    Thanks for your time

  5. Celebrities need to eat too. I'd eat my meal. I'd leave them alone.  Then, I'd tell all my friends I saw them at the restaurant.

  6. I would probably say hi, but Im not into bugging them--they need some privacy too.

  7. I would leave them alone.  They are probably trying to enjoy a quiet night.  Being a celebrity they are constantly bombarded.  Besides it's rude to interrupted someone while they are eating, especially if you don't know them personally.

  8. I believe everyone is entitled to speak to whom they want to speak and have a personal life.  That said, if I seen a celebrity while dining (and I have), I would give them a nice smile to let them know I recognised them, however, I would not interfere with another person's private moment, celebrity or not.  As it turned out the celebrity in question ended up in the same hotel limo going back to the hotel and was very congenial.  I don't collect autographs, just memories.

  9. I would not be interested in them just would be  nosey and look at what they ordered. A friend of mine was in a Hotel in Dubai and was sitting next to Robert De Nero.

  10. I would probably try to say 'hi, like your work' or something along that line, or try to get into a conversation if opportunity presented itself.  But I'd never bust into someone's dinner table, and I don't ask for an autograph from anyone.  Every autograph I have was attained at an autograph signing or given as a gift from a well-connected friend.  Requesting one by mail wouldn't be rude, but I've never done it.

  11. I would leave them alone for sure. I have been in a very famous restaurant in the Napa valley and have seen two celebs their at the same time, Robin Williams, and Troy Ackmen. No one bothered them at all. This res truant is a very very high priced place, so no one there is going to ruin-en a celeb enjoying their meal. However, if you are at a fast food place like Pinky's in LA, then yea, I might politely ask to for a autograph or tell them something nice.

  12. I would bug them for a autograph and photo.

  13. I personally would leave them alone.

  14. Celebrities are people, too.  They're entitled to live their lives in peace, like anyone else.  You don't bother people during dinner.  Once their autside the restaurant, you can politely ask, but other than that leave them alone.

  15. dosen't a celebrety eat, and use the bathroom like the rest of us, why all the fuzz?

  16. Leave them alone.....never interrupt while they are seated and having a meal.  If they are waiting or at the bar drinking, that would be different.  But walking up to a table and interrupting is very rude.
