  1. Just about.

    1. Bob Kubica

    2. Hammy

    3. Massa ( tough to pick between these 2)

    4. Vettel

    5. Alonso

    6. Kimi, should have a huge championship lead but is not giving it his all for some reason

    7. Trulli

    8. Heidfeld

    9. Kovalinen

    10. Glock/ Webber.

  2. heikki is something like you know....if u say hes not an good driver u  may find him on the poduim the nxt weekend n den u start thinking hes learning and will be a force to reckon he does silly things and retires or worse loses his position even while driving the best car on the grid...hence you question is not as easy to answer according o me this is the list(accordance with 2008 season performance purely, past and future personal life  not included...only rated on the basis of track performance)-

    1.Lewis Hamilton

    2.Felipe Massa

    3.Robert Kubica

4.Kimi Raikkonen(he's still c'ship contender and its not an joke)

5.HEIKKI KOVALAIENEN(just because of the recent win and the good sart at valencia)

6.giancarlo Fisichella(the most underrated driver...the way he fought with Hondas, red bulls, toro rossos  and williams to name a few are commendable)

7.Timo Glock(hes serious about F1...seriously...he knows its an hard earned seat at toyota)

    8.jarno trulli

9.nico rosberg(tries hard, performs better than the japanese team mate)

    10.Sebastain Vettel(good performance at Valencia)

    =10.Adrian Sutil(good performance at Monaco)

  3. 7th behind Kimi, Sutil, Kubica, Alonso, Glock and Vettel (Not in that order)

  4. Based on this season only.

I wouldn't rate him that highly, he isn't really on the podium much and his first win was only due to an engine failure for massa (who fully deserved that win, world class start).

However, he has being in there a few times, although i do think for the car he is in he's not amazing.

He is getting used to the sport and potential is there, McLaren are favouring Hamilton over him, even though he says not.

    KJeep going Hekki.

for this season he is around the 5th best driver, behind: Raikkonen,Hamilton,Massa,Kubica andTrulli

  5. Hard to say really. He's kinda like Massa. But Massa is a little more consistent. Both have a few good races then it's down the hill before picking up the pace again. But I gotta say, Massa ranks higher on my list. Heikki might be at the bottom of the top 10 list or narrowly missing out.

  6. He'd come in at about fourth in my book - definitely an up and coming talent. Plus he shows you CAN still be a Finn and yet not be miserable or completely lacking in charisma! (like the other driver from Finland)

  7. .

I'd place him in the rear of my gunties....., but on a good day about 7th. Still a lot to learn...

EDIT: Pathetic isn't it Julian!! I should've got your thumbs down for mentioning "gunties", but your well thought out personal opinion was viewed as danGeRoUs because you had more thumbs up maybe?

OK I make repair...I thumb up you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  8. I like Heikki and I don;t think he has reached his true potential yet. I would put him in my top ten for sure, either 5th or 6th.

thumbs up for everyone from me. be gone TD troll

  9. My top ten drivers so far this year have been:

    1) Lewis Hamilton

    2) Robert Kubica

    3) Felipe Massa

    4) Fernando Alonso

    5) Jarno Trulli

    6) Kimi Raikkonen

    7) Heikki Kovalainen

    8) Seb Vettel

    9) Timo Glock

    10) Mark Webber

Heikki is improving his racecraft race-by-race, and deserved his win in Hungary for all the effort he has put in... his improvement has shown that his raw talent may blossom into a fully-rounded front-runner and consistent race-winner... perhaps not as fast as his compatriots Mika and Kimi, but maybe more determined...

  10. Difficult one as his performance has been quite hit and miss.

i think he has enormous potential and I really like him as a driver.

I would put him a cautious 6th place.

  11. about midfield for me my 2008 top ten would be this -

1 - Kimi despite his motivation when on song there is no-one better

2 - Alonso is doing ace with that Renault this season overall

3 - Massa growing and growing at Ferrari and will only get better in years to come

4 - Kubica improving along with his improving team

5 - Vettel is showing what a talent he is for the future

6 - Kovy solid but not spectacular overall

7 - Hamilton solid again but the car does help

8 - Webber having a consistent season overall

9 - Heidfeld not having a great season compared to last year but still a top draw driver

10 - Rosberg been a bit hit and miss this year due to his car but the guy for me has undoubted potential to get even better
