  1. That would suck badly.. I would be much poorer.. I would probably end up finding another job..!

  2. I would be mightily pissed off and poor

  3. At the moment being a student it would just make my life a little more comfortable however $50,000 is about £25,000 and that's less than what a job from  basic college education can get you...

  4. Depending on where you live in the U.S. for example, $50,000 might not be enough money to live comfortably.

I live in California for example. My fiance and I make more than $50,000 a year and we live okay, but we can't do a lot of things. We cannot afford to buy a house, we are struggling with our bills and live paycheck to paycheck. We have limited luxuries.

In other parts of the country however, $50,000 is enough to live rather well. Maybe in those places it would change one's life, but not in California. I know that a house here might be, for example $250,000 on the low end, but in somewhere in the Midwest for example, the same house will go for about $90,000-well affordable for one who makes $50,000.

Hope that helps at all@ :)

  5. I would be worse off if the tax and insurance was deducted before the exchange to sterling.  Is that considered a reasonable wage in america?

  6. Ehm....It won't change your life a lot. You can maybe have some more expensive things, but it's just yearly....Maybe on one year you can buy something more expensive than you usually do!
