If you were going to have a "black and white" themed 18th...?

and everyone was wearing black and white, do you think it would be better to

a) dress in black and white like everyone else and follow the theme;

or

b) dress in a different, stand-out colour because it's your birthday.

I'd sort of stick to the theme.  I like the silver dress idea or how about a nice silver top and black pants or skirt.  You could wear silver accessories like a belt or something in your hair and body shimmer.  I wouldn't go a totally different colour.

Stick with the theme. People will be taking pictures right and five years from now you don't want to be asking yourself "why did I do that?" You might confuse the guests, too. Change the theme if you are having doubts, if it is not too late.

Well, I think it is your party and you should stand out from the crowd but you can do it in a subtle way while still sticking with the black and white theme...

How about dressing in black and white but adding a splash of bright colour - maybe a bright red belt, or other accessories??

you could dress in something  a little different than your guests but still in black and white you could be a bunny girl and you would still be in dress code but stand out good luck

You are going to be the only one to stand out. Then again, its okay to be a little selfish on your birthday. So wear a red dress and a tiara with a sash that says "Birthday Girl!"

I honestly think that a red dress would be perfect.  Imagine the pictures you will stand out against the others, but yet the red will look great with the black and white others are wearing.  If you decide to go with the theme then I would try to find something with both black and white or do black and add red accessories.....good luck....happy birthday and have fun.
