I think I'd aim for a female about my age. What does this say?

  1. I would choose a young female, because I would probably open up more to her about my problems. If she's a beautiful young lady than you will probably like to be around her and that's why you will open up more.

  2. yea female, i open up more to woman.  and like the dude before me said, if they look good id open up more and want to go more

  3. Yes, gender can have an impact on who you want to see. Sometimes, women connect better with women while men can  connect better with men.  Both genders have different tactics and practices. However, it's really the personality that you want to mesh with, not necessarily the gender. Sometimes it takes time finding the right psychotherapist. Don't give up and don't let gender scare you away from finding some really good psychotherapists. Good luck in finding yours.

  4. i would choose a man i can talk to them better,,

  5. doesnt matter as long as you are willing to be open and honest, age or gender doesnt make a difference. as long he or she is good i dont mind.

  6. I would say male. I have always felt judged by women more so than men.

That is interesting how all of the men have said they would see a woman and the women have said they would go to a man.

  7. As a male, it really does not matter to me. If it were to come down to everything else being equal other than gender, I would likely go and see the female just because I am more used to talking about delicate issues with women. I see men more as people to talk sports and cars or business.

I would say that your inclination to say female about your age is just your comfort area.
