  1. Man...so many I would want to see.

    How about the 2nd Daytona 500 in 1960 when Junior Johnson discovered drafting in a '55 Chevy and beat all the dominating Pontiacs that were 20-30 mph faster without drafting!

    The Pontiac teams caught on to the drafting technique 3/4's of the way through.

    The last Pontiac left in the race had to replace a front wheel bearing and was told to use the technique to get Johnson. With a few laps left, The Pontiac caught Johnson and drafted up to him. He went to swerve around him and Johnson thought he was beat but once the Pontiac got beside Johnson, the change in turbulence created pressure inside of the car and the back glass blew out of the Pontiac! That changed the Sail on the Pontiac suddenly, so to speak, and it totally spun out and Junior Johnson went on to the checkerd flag!


  2. I would like to travel back to the 1989 All Star race at Charlotte and see the duel with Rusty Wallace and Darrell Waltrip with Rusty spinning Darrell out to win win the race.

  4. If I could turn back time I'd say the 1998 Daytona 500, I could ride in a time machine back to 1998 I might just stay, and then maybe Daytona 500 2001 could have ended differently..R.I.P Dale Sr.

  5. 1984 Firecracker 400.....#43 vs. #28.....Reagan and Air Force One lands on airport behind backstretch. Petty nips Cale at the line by a nose....I watched it on TV but man what I would give to be in the stands. That's where I'd be.

  6. I would love to have seen Senior win the Daytona 500 in 98'... it makes me cry when I watch it on t.v.... Everyone was just so happy for him, it was awesome.
