If you were handed back too much change would you give it back?

we always complain when cashiers jip us but if they gave us back too much like 2 twentys stuck together would we return it i might not!

Honestly it depends if they were nice or not. If they were a jerk chances are I'm gonna keep the money. Hey thats Karma for you.

Yes I would, even if know one else knew, Jehovah God  saw it.

“The righteous is walking in his integrity,” states Proverbs 20:7. An honest person is a person of integrity. He never cheats or deceives his fellow man. Is that not how you wish others to treat you? Honesty is basic to true worship. It is an expression of our love for God and neighbor. By being honest, we show our desire to follow the principle of conduct expressed by Jesus: “All things, therefore, that you want men to do to you, you also must likewise do to them.”—Matthew 7:12; 22:36-39.

My love for God and Jesus would cause me to return it. I have had people not  want to admit they were wrong or didn't want there coworkers to know and refused to take it.

actually i have. the lady gave me a 10 and another 10 was stuck to it. i didn't notice until i was at my car so i took it back in. it comes out of there check if they are too short. how do i know if she is a single mom struggling she probably couldn't afford to lose her job. i also have found 4000 dollars while cleaning a room. i turned it in and the lady came back for it and gave me 100 for being honest, and i didn't lose my job i got promoted. it pays to be honest in the long run.

It would depend on how much extra change they gave me.

If it was more than twenty, I would give it back, but if it's less than that, no I would not return it.

if i realized it i probably would, but i guess it would just depend on the service i received that day. if the cashier was rude or i had other bad experience in the business maybe not. is that shallow?

Sometimes, I buy fruit from someone who has a cart on the street. It can be a difficult job especially when the weather is really bad. If someone like that gave me too much change, I would return it.

It would be a different story if I got too much change from a chain store, especially all those horrible drug stores like Duane Reade and CVS.

Then I would look up to the sky and say "Thank you, God, for this gift."

If it was like 5 pence I wouldn't rush back into the shop, but if it was like £100 then I probably would.
