  1. Ignore it and try not to get upset and then go to their wedding and have my phone go off 10 times :]

  2. Make sure that they know I saw and heard everything. I think my cold stare will get them to turn it off immediately. lol. =) That sounds so mean, but hey, they should have respect for someone doing something so serious!

  3. If I were the bride I would stop turn around and ask them if they would like us to wait.

or how about telling them they get no food at the reception?

or strutting over to them and taking the phone and stepping on it?

    Wow- I sound like bridezilla.

Glad that didn't happen at my wedding, lol.

    Meg

  4. Honestly, I'd just ignore it. Same as if the groom farted. Pretend it never happened. I'm not gonna let a phone ruin my wedding day. I will however, keep this in mind and have someone remind everyone to turn off their cells, like at the theater.

  5. Ignore the phone and keep on with the ceremony........NOT to turn off one's cell phone before the start of a wedding ceremony is rather rude....the last wedding I attended the officiate, a non-denominational minister, made the announcement that ALL pagers, cells phones, etc were to be turned off before the processional...he waited. Then both Moms were escorted to their seats, and the processional started down the aisle....

  6. I'd laugh whilst boiling inside. Our Vicar has already told us that she plays games and warms up the "crowd" while waiting for the bride to arrive... which includes having them practice the "WE DO" and making them demonstrate that they are turning their phones off. She also warns them that any ringing phone will head straight into the font... she hasn't had one ring since she started this little routine.

  7. If your quick enough make some off the cuff hilarous statement.

Otherwise just have a chuckle and move on, its not really a serious crime. Its alot worse if some yells something out during your vows like "don;t do it!"

  8. I would laugh, turn around and say... granddad, stop telling your hookers to ring you... just pay them already

  9. Depends on who it is.  Laugh if its someone close and if not, bein the guy I am, I wuda asked some1 to kick em out then continue with the wedding.  Then again I might just do it myself.

  10. Beat them over the head at the reception. You'll be armed with a serving knife.

  11. just go on and forget about it

  12. Smile at my husband-to-be!

  13. I photograph weddings and that has happened. The minister stopped the wedding so the offending guest could complete his phone call, then resumed it when he hung up.

There were many people turning off cell phones at that point.

  14. I would pretend I didn't care, but I know I would be secretly pissed. It wouldn't ruin the wedding by any means, but it's just really distracting and rude. The guest should be considerate enough to turn of his/her phone.

  15. laugh a little and probably shoot them a not so nice look!  Its common courtesy to shut it off before going in!

  16. forget about it!

  17. ignore it or laugh. I went to a wedding once where a baby wouldn't stop crying. You couldn't even hear the bride and groom bc of that baby wailing. That was much worse.

  18. laugh
