  1. Since I'm Catholic, yes.

    Yee-Hah!

    The Marlboro Man

  2. I go everyday.

The Bible is proclaimed, Christ's death and resurrection are shown froth and Christ Himself is present and presiding

  3. It depends entirely on who invited me, and my relationship to them.

I've attended Catholic Mass in the past, at the invitation of friends.

I'm glad to say that I didn't burst into flames when I entered the church, nor was I struck by a thunderbolt. I wasn't set upon by hordes of howling wild beasts, and everyone there seemed quite nice.

I sat quietly in the pews while the service took place.

It's not my belief, so I didn't take part in the proceedings, except to be there, be quiet, and have a little respect for the other worshippers.

The way I see it is, as an Animist if I want to attend a church service, I will.

Sarcastic comments about being struck down for being a non Believer aside, there's no harm in it.

It made my friends happy that I went with them.

All they wanted was my company, and to show me an aspect of their lives I might not otherwise have seen.

I can do that for my friends.

I walked in an Animist, I walked out an Animist, there was never any hint that things would be different.

They wanted to share something of their life, with me. Friends do that.

  4. Sure. One of my best buds is Catholic

  5. This is one Catholic who's just going to sit here and drink her diet Sprite and watch today's episode of "As R&S Churns."

But to make things more interesting, tell ya what I'll do. I am going to invite everyone here in this Forum to attend Mass at their nearest Catholic church this weekend.

Now that it's not a hypothetical invitation, let's see the answers you get.

    Edit:

What -- no fundamentalists ranting about them evil pagan heathern idol-worshipin' Catholics, yet? Amazing!

  6. Yes I would go, but then I do go anyway as I am a practicing Catholic.

  7. I went on Sunday.

  8. I have in the past and will again in the very near future (this Sunday).

Two of my friends are Catholic priests.

  9. Yes I would but then I am Catholic and attend Mass daily.

  10. It would depend on the intent of the invitor.  If it were to try and convert me, no.  If they were just inviting me to spend time with them and show me what goes on in Mass, sure.

  11. oh i will!!

  12. sure.  i am catholic

  13. I have been voluntarily, as an observer. Why would anyone refuse to go to the theater?
