Why or why not? I was recently at my 20th and only about 1/3 of the people who graduated with us were there. And some of the ones who didn't come are still in the area. Just wondering why you would or wouldn't.

  1. I would go. To see what people are doing now.

  2. I'm not in high school yet, so I don't know.

  3. no.i was invited once.from 3,000 miles away.but if i was in town it might have been different.NOT!!!

  4. i didnt lose anything back in high school. the people that want to be my friends keep in contact with me or have made contact. no i would probley not go. and i am not going to my 25th year one eithor

  5. I recently passed up my 5 year reunion because I was a loner in high school. Had one friend who turned out to be a ***** and didn't feel like feeling inferior once again. I do plan on going to me 10 year though. Just to see what people are up to and to show off my high pay job and things it has brought.

  6. 10 year reunion coming soon and I haven't decided yet. I would like to go to see how my fellow classmates are doing and it would be nice to catch up with the good old times, and how things once were, to how things are now, etc. I'm sure there will be plenty of interesting stories to pass around. It all depends, not sure how reunions work. From what I noticed these days it cost money to attend one and it isn't so cheap. My Husband's 10 year reunion came and went, he didn't attend since it would be too far of a travel for us and to attend he would have to spend big bucks. It depends where the venue will be, don't understand why people don't just keep it more simple and have it at the school's gym like the good old days? I wouldn't mind it and would love to visit my old high school because it would bring back so much great memories.

  7. If I could afford to go I would, my school was in England. It's nice to keep up with old friends even if it is only once a year.

  8. High school tended to be too cliquey for me, and the friends were not the most loyal people when the class is so big. I think when people go in all different directions in college and the country going to reunions or not doesn't seem to be a big magnet anymore. It also depends on your class body and whether the survival rate is a factor. The latter might make a difference in your desire to return.....

(my friends of later times were more mature and lasting. The reunions did show the only reason of attending of showing off or impressing people of recent success the main reason of showing up. Lasting friendships is another. Smaller schools have the lead on attendance on the latter. The real good reason helps with the closeness in attendance and caring about the other students.)

  9. My god .. I just attended  a school re-union of mine .. kinda fancy fete .. I met my kinder garaden and even three grader mates ...

The ecstasy and joy in my heart was jus too much .. it was very consoling and comforting to my then wounded heart ...

You should never miss to soothe your soul with events like this ....

what are u waiting for !!

  10. No I would not go. The reason is the fact that I moved to another part of the country many years ago and being the age before the internet and email lost all contact with any of the people I went to school with. Eventually even the close friends that I had became more distant and we lost contact. If I didn't move and maintained some contact I would probably attend.
