Getting paid good money to stand in the field for 50 overs? I would be delighted.

Luke Wright knows his role perfectly, he is the late hitter at the end of an innings, and a variety bowler (perfect for a slower pitch) or just some variation.

Wright will be upset that he cant showcase his talents to the selectors on a consistent basis, but if he keeps scoring late order runs, and takes a few wickets then he is doing the job he was assigned.

I believe that in a couple of years time when Wright develops he will be the pinch-hitting all-rounder that England so desperately need.
