If you were making a poster to advertise Upper Canada what would you say?

Back in the Olden days where they wanted to establish upper Canada i'm doing a socials project on where your advertising other people to come to the upper Canada to establish it i'm not sure what to say any suggestions?

  1. Visually I would show the Northwest Territories and the Yukon Territory extending up to the Arctic Ocean.  Gold Rush was really big, but upper Canada has lots of open space and of course their neighbor is Alaska eh.

    Seriously, to get people to go to remote areas you need to advertise things like gold prospecting, gem mining and other paths to great wealth. Fur trapping was also quite lucrative.

  4. don't listen to these people, they don't know what upper canada you were referring to. if you want help, look up the pictures of upper canada village..should get some ideas in your mind about what people would see if they came to this area. I would help you out, but I don't think it's good to do someone else's homework, but as an original descendant of an upper canadian family, I could tell you that they came here for the furs, the fertile soil, the fishing and the easy trading with native peoples and the americans. upper canada was a vast trade route with farming communities developed in this particular area because of trade.
