Question:

If you were never arrested and they want you to come to court(prosecutor) not the judge do you have to attend?

shouldn't the court/judge hearing the case request your presence and not the prosecutor, wouldn't that mean i will show up on the prosecutors request and wouldn't that be to prosecute myself? it's been 5 months on a misdemeanor.

  1. If you were arrested and or subpoenaed then yes you have to go to court at the prosecutors request.  


  2. If I was never arrested would I show up probably not.  However, if you were issued a ticket/summons then you are supposed to show up, they have two years on a Statute of Limitations I do believe.  

  3. The prosecuter/ DA would normaly petition the court for a warrent then Buba goes and arrests you. First thing id do is call the DA office and see if there a active charge out on you. I so, turn your self in and post bond. If not, tell them to kick rocks.

  4. you need to talk to a lawyer to clarify this situation.
