I would.  Not only would I benefit from teh $10 Million but so would a lot of people.  I would pay off my mortgage, my parents, my in-laws, brothers, and closest friends.  I would buy my baby sister a house (currently in college).  I would also pay off the college debt of my siblings and friends.  I would quit my job and work for the Red Cross as a volunteer for disaster services.  (My Dad does in his retirement)  So many charities would get sizable donations.  I am not at all a selfish person so it would well be worth a year in the pen to help so many others.

Tax Free for your freedom and character.... I think not.  My values are higher than that.   I could survive the incarceration, but then my morals would not be there.  Sometimes I make a wrong judgment and I am tormented with it for life....It keeps coming back.  Even if I thought it was for the right reason.  I could die in prison...Then where am I..... Better to work for your money, or get it honestly.  An inheritance would be nice. 10 million dollars tax free and then to end up in prison... doesn't sound honest to me.

The only reason I wouldn't is because I wouldn't want to be away from my husband and kids. If not for that, I would.

I'm a self-employed contractor and am use to getting paid only for the hard work that I do, no hard work = NO PAY DAY.

This might even be my only vacation or chance at retirement.

I would say yes, especially with the way things are right now. Times are hard and money is even harder to come by. I would probably go absolutely mental for that year but i guess i could afford a good psychiatrist once i was out!!!
