You can't hear anything on the moon and that is especially true for sounds traveling in space from the Earth to the moon.  With no atmosphere to transmit the sound waves, there is no way anyone could hear anything.  Those movies that have spaceships blowing up making enormous sounds of explosions are all fiction.  If something did explode in space, there is no sound of it going to be heard.

Assuming that such a sound really exists (not very likely), you would not be able to hear it on the moon.  The space between the Earth and the Moon is very close to a vacuum, and as any third grade student who paid attention during science class can tell you, sound will not travel through a vacuum.

I certainly would NOT LET EARTH KNOW I was listening!  Or that I existed - otherwise they would come look for me and kill me too!!!  It is just Earth's nature... Earth can't help it ;)
