If you were out on bond and you left the country, what would happen to you?

Would you spend one night in jail in a private cell and go to court in your street clothes the next day? Joe Six Pack would not only go to jail, share a cell with heaven only knows who, but in my city he would be wearing his orange jail suit to court. Would Joe get released again on bond? I think NOT!!
