Palin or Obama?

Who would you think?

My guess..it would be overwhelmingly Sarah Palin. Doesn't that say something to the character of this woman? It speaks volumes!!!!

(btw we all know our military will follow McCain over Obama any day, but I think it is interesting to note that the Republican VP has more repect than the Democratic Presidential Nominee)

  1. "Barracuda" as commander in chief ! That is hilarious..

  2. Reality proves you wrong. Military members are supporting Obama. This veteran with a child currently in the Army is voting Obama too.

Obama, Paul net most military workers' campaign donations

  3. You'd guess wrong  Your guess does not speak volumes.  The miltary knows McCain's anti-veteran stance and has voted that way every time.

  4. As A Former United States Marine... I would Vote For Sarah Palin before Barack Obama Every Day!

  5. Obama. Many members of the military are upset over the way our troops have been misused to fight a needless war and many appreciate that Democrats have always fought hard for the acknowledgement of the sacrifices of veterans by insisting on decent care and benefits for veterans.

  6. Obama.  At least he cares enough about veterans to increase their benefits.

  7. USMC General (ret) Pace

  8. Sorry, but I wouldn't want to follow someone who admits to knowing little about foreign policy and particularly the war in Iraq into combat.  She's been the mayor of a town the size of a metropolitan high school and governor of a state whose population is the fraction of a major U.S. city for 19 months.  Anyone who thinks that is more credible experience than Obama's just doesn't understand factual information.  Ignorance is dangerous.

  9. Palin by far.

USMC 30+ years, retired. I know our troops dislike the anti-American, anti-military scumbag Barry Obama. He blew off visiting the wounded to play basketball for the cameras.

  10. how about none of the above.

  11. your conjecture is accurate, but remember that our military serve the nation, so no matter who is in charge, they will follow the Commander in Chief, and lawful orders. The military does have the right to disobey unlawful orders.

  12. I like Palin.  I like her more then Obama.  But I like her because I like her stances on the issues.

As for McCain, he is not anti-veteran.  He voted down the new GI Bill because it's not ready.  Even the Army Times said not to be to quick to sign up for it since it will not be ready until 2010 at the earliest.  If you sign up for the new one and are not covered by the old one, you have to wait until the new one kicks in to start getting your benefits.

There were also other bills attached to it that took money away from Defense Spending and put it to programs that had nothing to do with the military.

McCain has done nothing but helped the military.  Neither Bush nor McCain have done anything to the soldiers, airmen, marines, or sailors.  Yes, we have deployed a lot, but our pay has been increased, our housing has been improved, we have been given the equipment we need to do our jobs, the training we need, our families have been taken care of.

  13. Where did you get this propaganda from. Military personnel do not want to serve under Bush and they don't want to serve in a 100 year Vietnam the sequel. The cnn poll says the military prefer Obam 2-1 over McCain. Look it up.

  14. Hmm, I saw plenty of High ranking generals and other ACTIVE MILITARY servicemen and women at the DNC National convention speaking as to why they support Obama!

Don't forget that military families have the same issues as the rest of us. They have to buy gas, groceries and make ends meet.

Many military people won't come out and say it publicly, but they do ask the question, why the h**l are we here in Iraq fighting for people who won't fight for their own nation?

  15. Yes, Absolutely

  16. they would say mccain....

because most liberals do not join the military..

    lets be honest

  17. Why do you think the military will follow McCain? Do you think they like going to war? I lived on an army base, none were for bush, or McCain. Why do you think the republican vp has more respect? Because she's a woman, or has no experience in anything she's doing? My husband is in the army, and is currently deployed how bout you go to Iraq and ask our troops who they want as president? You think they want to be there, from anywhere between 6-18 months, away from there families. Please, having your opinion is fine that's great, but don't speak on behalf of other people, because you have no idea.
